A group of 3 hula dancer statues that symbolize the spirit of Hawaii are located at a corner of the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort. Named “Kaha Ka ‘Io Me Na Makani” meaning “the hawk soars with the winds,” capturing a moment of traditional hula kahiko dancing.
The hula dancer statues are along a public sidewalk, so you can go for a walk to see it even if you’re not staying at the resort.
An iconic landmark of the Hilton Hawaiian Village, you can get a warm welcome to Hawaii from the hula dancers!

Start with a walk to hula dancer statue at Hilton Hawaiian Village. From there, continue walking through the Hilton Hawaiian Village to get to the beach!
Stop 1: Hula dancer statue and pond

👆 There’s also small waterfalls nearby.
Stop 2: Lagoon and boardwalk
👆 You can walk straight through and you’ll arrive at a path to the lagoon, about a 4 minute walk from the hula dancer statues.
👆 By going to the lagoon, you can see the iconic Rainbow Tower at Hilton Hawaiian Village, that has been seen in Hawaii-based TV shows.
👆 There’s a boardwalk that loops around the lagoon that goes to the Hilton Hawaiian Village beach aka the Duke Kahanamoku Beach.
Stop 3: Kahanamoku Beach
👆 Kahanamoku Beach is a 9 minute walk from the hula dancer statue, if you loop around the lagoon to get there. (You can also go the quick way that will save 2 minutes.) This beach is also where the Hilton pier is located where you get on the Atlantis Submarine. You can continue walking along the beach on the Fort DeRussy boardwalk to Steak Shack for a plate lunch or Tropical Tribe for an acai bowl!
