ALOHA!
Watching the Friday night fireworks from Fort DeRussy Beach is one of the best watch spots in Waikiki!
I went to Fort DeRusy Beach to watch the fireworks, so I have pictures below!
The host of the fireworks is the Hilton Hawaiian Village, which is one beach over from Fort DeRussy Beach.
This means that by making the Fort DeRussy Beach your fireworks watch spot, you’ll be close enough that it feels like a pretty great view. Head to the end of the beach that’s closest to the Outrigger Reef hotel near the rock jetty.
You can sit on the beach to watch the fireworks, or there are people who sit on the rocks nearby. You’ll want to be facing the direction of the Hilton Hawaiian Village, which will be to the right when you’re looking out at the ocean. Bring a towel, beach mat, or something to sit on the beach!
If you’re staying on the other side of Waikiki, you can take a bus to get closer to Fort DeRussy Beach… or walk!
More below with pictures and how to get there!
