ALOHA!

Hiking is one of the top things you need to do when you go to Hawaii! And Oahu has a lot of hikes that come with amazing views and are easy to access.

Below I have for you an interactive map of Oahu hikes that I made. These are hikes that I really think you should consider for a first trip to Hawaii, because they have views that you imagine as just so-very-Hawaii.

There are a lot of Oahu hikes you can do without a car. Well, as long as you have time and patience for the bus, that is. I’ve done a bunch of hikes on Oahu by bus, and it’s really not a big deal, as long as you manage your expectations.

Most of the hikes on this list are 1-2 hour hikes, which means you can make the hike your “one big activity” of the day and then take it easy the rest of the day. Do a hike, then have an acai bowlΒ or go snorkeling in Waikiki once you’re back.

If you’re ambitious, it is possible to do 2 hikes in one day too, especially if you choose the 2-hour hikes.

No matter how many hikes you do in a day, and no matter your method of transportation, be prepared with water and snacks!

Now first, I want to explain what’s on the map! The interactive map is at the bottom.
